Terms and Conditions

Haptiker includes a free 7-day trial with every feature enabled. No account or payment details are needed. When the trial ends, gestures stop working until you activate a license key.

Haptiker is sold as a one-time purchase. Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, and are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may include taxes based on your location.

Launch pricing and discount codes are available for a limited time and may be changed or ended at any point. A discount can't be applied to an order after it has been placed.

When you buy Haptiker you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control. A license key has a limited number of activations; you can deactivate a Mac from the app's settings to free one up.

You may not:

• Share, resell, sublicense or publish your license key
• Bypass or tamper with the trial or license checks
• Redistribute modified copies of the app
• Reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it

We may deactivate license keys that are shared publicly or obtained fraudulently.

The free trial lets you check that Haptiker works on your Mac before you pay. If something still goes wrong after buying, email hello@haptiker.app and we'll help or arrange a refund through Lemon Squeezy. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Haptiker requires macOS 12 or later and a Mac with a Force Touch trackpad or a Magic Trackpad. Brightness control on external displays depends on the display and how it is connected.

Haptiker uses macOS system interfaces that Apple does not officially document. A future macOS update could change how they work and temporarily or permanently affect some features. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep Haptiker working, but we can't guarantee compatibility with every future version of macOS or every piece of hardware.

Haptiker is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Haptiker. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Haptiker after a change means you accept the updated terms.
